Mary Ellen Welch Greenway Design Meeting on Tuesday

On Tuesday, January 30th, the City of Boston will host a meeting to discuss the design of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway.
The focus of the renovation will be on the City-owned section from Porter Street to Marginal Street with the goal to:
- Reduce stormwater and coastal flooding, both near-term and long-term
- Provide cool spots along the greenway to help mitigation Urban Heat Island
- Promote tree health
