Free Tax Prep

Tax season has entered the chat! If the thought of W-2s and deductions is already raising your blood pressure, take a deep breath. The City of Boston is once again offering free tax prep and filing help for residents earning under $70,000. You can sit down with a real person at one of the neighborhood’s in-person sites or file online from the comfort of your couch — all at no cost and with support available in multiple languages.  You can learn more here!

The Rink at The Tall Ship Grand Opening Celebration

Introducing The Rink at The Tall Ship! Boston’s most iconic waterfront destination is about to make waves – this time, on ice.❄️⛸ Navy Yard Hospitality Group, in partnership with the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), recently announced the preview opening of The Rink at The Tall Ship. The preview marks the first phase of a new seasonal transformation of East Boston’s iconic waterfront venue. This initial soft launch offers guests an early look at the outdoor ice rink and select programming, with a full grand opening scheduled for February 11, 2026, from 3pm-6pm when additional features, amenities, and experiences will debut.
