ICA Watershed is back for a new season!

The ICA Watershed—a seasonal space in East Boston dedicated to large-scale artist projects—will reopen for the season with  Chiharu Shiota: Home Less Home.  In her awe-inspiring installations, Chiharu Shiota (born 1972 in Osaka, Japan; lives and works in Berlin) foregrounds stories of migration, home, connection, memory, and consciousness. Using line in the form of string, Shiota creates immersive installations that underscore human connection and experience.  The ICA Watershed will reopen on May 22nd.

Memorial Day Flag Garden

The City of Boston’s flag garden is on display through Monday at Boston Common. Each of the 37,000+ American flags planted at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument represents every brave Massachusetts service member who gave his or her life defending our country since the Revolutionary War.

Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at the Tall Ship

On Friday enjoy live music by The KR Show on Saturday, May 24th ​ from 2:00pm-5:00pm

Battle of Chelsea Creek Celebration

Join the East Boston community in celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Chelsea Creek! This fun event will take place on Saturday, May 24th from 10am-4pm complete with reenactments of the battle, a petting zoo, pony rides, tours, games, food, and more!  You can get all the details here!

Play Pickleball

In Eastie, you can play pickleball at Porzio Park with city skylines as the backdrop and Constitution Beach has a pickleball option on its tennis courts! For indoor pickleball, you can play at the Eastie YMCA!

Attend an Author Talk at East Boston Public Library

The Eastie library is hosting a special author talk on Saturday from 2pm-3pm with Frances McNamara and she’ll be discussing her novel. Three Decker Murder in a Nutshell.

Pazza on Porter is Back!

After five years as a staple dining spot in East Boston, Pazza on Porter is entering an exciting new chapter.
