The Great Annual Eastie Egg Hunt

The Great Annual Eastie Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 4th from 10am-12pm!  This event will feature face painting, games, and an egg hunt! BYOB – bring your own basket for the egg hunt!  Due to the playground being under construction at Piers Park, the location has changed this year to Massport Bremen Street Park- 344 Bremen Street, East Boston.  See you there!

Check out the Hanging Nasturtium at the Isabella Gardner Museum

Just like the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC, the hanging nasturtium at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a sign of spring in Boston!  Twenty gloriously bright flowering nasturtium vines are on display in the museum courtyard until mid-April.  These striking orange blooms were a special favorite of founder Isabella Stewart Garnder.  Make a plan to visit and take in the beauty!  Reservations are strongly recommended.  Over the following weeks, the museum staff will be sharing a peek behind the scenes at how these remarkable vines are nurtured and installed via their Instagram. In celebration of spring, the East Boston Public Library is featuring a Seed Library! Located by the adult section, alongside the Therapy Cards, you will find the card catalog that has been repurposed as a seed holder! The Seed Library is open to all, and it’s first-come, first-served.
