Prepare to Recycle those Christmas Trees
Recycle those dried-out Christmas trees this week! The City of Boston will be collecting them for the first two full weeks in January! Place trees at the curb by 6am on trash day. No decorations, bags, stands or lights on the tree. The tree will be shredded up to be used as compost. The compost will be distributed in various Boston parks o help new things grow! NYE Ice Sculpture Stroll
Boston Harbor Now’s signature New Year’s Eve Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll is back! Get ready to count down to 2025 with over TWO dozen ice sculptures hosted by businesses and cultural sites across the waterfront. It’ll be the largest Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll EVER! Also, enjoy Touch-A-Truck and Touch-a-Boat kids’ events from noon to 4pm at the Envoy Hotel, and stick around into the night for Year’s End Fireworks to ring in 2024! This event is free and you can learn more here, including an interactive map!Â
