In-person city council meeting forced to go zoom due to the publics’ refusal to put on masks

Universal Hub is reporting that while the city council was in session on Wednesday around 1:15pm, the newly elected president, Ed Flynn asked members of the public sitting in the gallery to put on their masks per City of Boston ordinance. Evidently, they refused which forced Flynn to call a recess and ask fellow city councilors to leave the chambers.

Security then dealt with the anti-maskers and around 1:50pm the city council meeting resumed via Zoom from the councilors’ offices.
