Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hour in East Boston on July 27
Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hours offer a unique opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor and staff from City departments about City services and resident concerns. Through personal conversations and a suggestion box at each site, Mayor Wu looks forward to hearing how the City of Boston can improve parks, public areas, and City services.
A neighborhood staple known for bringing the community together over a cup of coffee, Dunkin’ is back to fuel the conversation with iced coffee and donuts. Dunkin’ will also provide lawn game activities for attendees, gift card giveaways, and the opportunity for residents to win a raffle prize. Free flowering plants will be provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, and fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market, while supplies last.
This neighborhood event takes place on Monday, July 27 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at East Boston Memorial Park, 143 Porter St, Boston, MA 02128

GREAT – where else was this shared???????? and she never comes to Orient Heights … 10-11 am ???? anytime she has come here, she limits the people’s topics – she has her staff around to discourage questions about real concerns and issues….. how about the recent Bike violence towards an elderly man with a walker being beaten up by a bike rider who didn’t like being told to slow down….. sorry to say, she is protected by a glass bubble and no wonder people are upset with the lack of transparency and dealing with the real issues here in the city…. because we are so frustrated and tired of being censured, discouraged from sharing real emotions (not angry ones) we are living the issues and she is reading them if not shielded from them….. we the working class are feeling like the lost class and that’s not going away…
