A body found floating near an East Boston bridge on Saturday was identified as a missing East Boston woman.
According to Mass Live, District Attorney Kevin Hayden stated that the body has been identified as that of 61-year-old Elba Portillo. There is no indication of foul play in Portillo’s death.
Portillo was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2024 near Marion Street in East Boston after leaving for work. She never arrived to work.
