These nine Local Restaurants are closing

In depressing restaurant news, these greater Boston restaurants have decided to close their doors.  Boston Restaurant Talk is reporting that the following will be shutting down for the time being:

Bar Mezzana in Boston’s South End

Benedetto in Cambridge

Black Lamb in the South End

Cornwall’s Tavern in Kenmore Square

Gustazo in Cambridge and Waltham,

nathálie Wine Bar in the Fenway,

Playmakers Restaurant and Bar in Waltham,

The Poynt in Newburyport

River Bar in Somerville’ Assembly Row.

Recently in Southie the following restaurants have closed or are closing for the winter:

Gray’s Hall

Drink, Menton and Sportello will be closing for the month of January.
