Los Alebrijes, a family-owned spot featuring Mexican food, now serves cocktails! In addition to beer, wine, and margaritas, you can also try a Cantarito – a traditional drink from Jalisco, Mexico, often found at roadside bars in Tequila Jalisco made with a blend of tequila, citrus juices, Squirt, salt, and lime juice!
Los Alebrijes menu features pozole, tortilla soup, pescadillas, tacos, enchiladas, and more! Save room for the churros and ice cream for dessert!
The cozy spot has bold and beautiful artwork by artist Deylii Landaverde featuring “alebrijes” which are folk art that take elements from different animals from the artist’s imagination to create a magical being.
The co-owners are Crisoforo Lopez, Roció Rojas, and Gerardo Espinosa, who also own Los Agaves in Chelsea. Los Alebrijes is located at 192 Sumner Street.
