August 16, 2024 – Boston, MA – Celebrated Boston Chef and Restaurateur Douglass Williams, and business partner, Seth Gerber, announce today they are opening a fourth location of their acclaimed Italian restaurant, MIDA, in The Fenway this October. The new MIDA location at 1391 Boylston Street will further build on the brand’s growing popularity. In preparation for this expansion, DW French, their French brasserie, will have its final service on Sunday, August 18.
“DW French will always hold a special place in our hearts,” said Williams. “At the same time, we are thrilled to bring MIDA to The Fenway and are excited for our local community and the many visitors to the neighborhood to experience MIDA’s menu, which draws inspiration from the various regions of Italy and the simplicity of classic Italian cooking.”
Gerber added, “The enthusiastic response to MIDA’s handcrafted Italian cuisine made it clear that this is the ideal fit for The Fenway. We’re excited to bring MIDA to such a vibrant and rapidly evolving community.”
MIDA, known for its scratch-made pastas and Italian influenced neighborhood dining, has established itself with locations in Boston’s South End, Newton and East Boston. Soon it will expand to The Fenway. MIDA’s menu focuses on the many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using the freshest seasonal ingredients.
