Eastie Tradition – 50 Years of Election Day Lunch at the Legendary Santarpio’s

Did you know that on Election Day in the City of Boston, candidates meet for a friendly lunch at Santarpio’s in East Boston? For 50 years, it’s been an election-day tradition. According to the Boston Herald, on Tuesday, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary, elected from the past, present, and future met at the pizza shop located on Chelsea Street in the neighborhood!
This year’s host was City Councilor Gabriela Coletta from East Boston! She ran unopposed for the District 1 seat.
