East Boston Latin Music and Dance Festival Returns September 13th
Get ready to dance, Eastie! The 5th Annual East Boston Latin Music and Dance Festival returns to East Boston Memorial Park on Sunday, September 13th. Hosted by Senator Lydia Edwards in partnership with Salsa Y Control and ZUMIX, the festival will feature live music, dancing, local artists and businesses, plus plenty of food. The celebration runs from 1pm-8pm and is free and open to everyone. Stop by, enjoy the music, grab something to eat, and do some dancing!
Make Waves Wellness at Tall Ship
Kick off your weekend with a little movement on the waterfront! Seaav is hosting its final Make Waves Wellness Series event at The Tall Ship on Saturday, featuring a class led by Hailey Hoffman, owner of Studio78 at 9:45am. After your workout, stick around for the Seaav Wellness Lounge + Pop-Up Experience from 11am–12pm, with brand activations and a first look at Seaav’s new Coastal Pantry Collection. Eastie Garden Club Fall Bulb Planting Fundraiser
The Eastie Garden Club is looking to bring a little extra color to Day Square next spring! The group is raising funds to purchase and plant spring bulbs throughout the center of the square this fall. If you live nearby, own a local business, shop or dine in Day Square, or simply pass through the neighborhood, consider making a donation. Sweatapalooza is back on Saturday
Get ready to sweat! Sweatapalooza returns to the Seaport on Saturday, September 12th, from 10am–1pm for a morning of free fitness and fun on the waterfront. The lineup features three workouts: Yoga Sculpt with Shazie Senen at 10am, Broncore Fitness with Bron Volney at 11am, and a Pilates Party with Reese Pressey at noon. In addition to the workouts, there will be a live DJ, giveaways, and pop-ups from Life Alive, Sweetgreen, and Remedy Place — including smoothie samples, bites, and even a complimentary ice bath experience.
