This past fall, Taste of Eastie rolled out the brand-new East Boston Taco Trail—a cultural and culinary adventure that highlights the neighborhood’s incredible Mexican taquerías, Salvadoran kitchens, and Colombian grills. Think of it as your “passport to flavor”—a guided way to explore Eastie’s authentic taquerías, hidden gems, and local spots serving up everything from street-style tacos to lively bar bites. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Senator Collins will serve as host, welcoming international, national, state, and local elected officials, faith leaders, and military leaders, including Irish Minister of Defense, Foreign Affairs and Trade Helen McEntee, Archbishop Richard Henning of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, leaders of the Irish Defense Forces, the Massachusetts National Guard, the USS Barnum, and the USS Massachusetts.
