The USS Constitution Will Be Turning Around on Friday

The USS Constitution will be underway on Friday, leaving the Charlestown Navy Yard at 10 am and heading to Castle Island’s Fort Independence for a 21-Gun-Salute around 11:30 am. This underway will honor women veterans! USS Constitution will fire an additional 17-gun salute as she passes the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Boston, the former site of Edmund Hartt’s Shipyard, where USS Constitution was built and launched on Oct. 21, 1797.

The Grateful Bagel X Smoke Shop

On Saturday June 15 from 10am – 12pm (or sellout) The Grateful Bagel will be popping up at the Smoke Shop in East Boston for a Father’s Day Weekend BBQ BAGEL POPUP FEATURING 5 INCREDIBLE OPTIONS created and executed by the award winning @andyhusbands and the Smoke Shop team. In addition to sandwiches, there will also be bagels and schmears for sale. New to the Neighborhood – Florenza Cafe

The neighborhood just got a little more delicious! Florenza Cafe is now open at 164 Sumner Street in East Boston. This cafe will be serving up Roman-style pizza, paninis, gelato, and coffee! For this week, they have limited hours, but the pizza looks amazing and worth the trip!  The house favorite is Proper Pepperoni with Cup ‘n Char Pepperoni! Yum!

Outdoor Yoga with The Point

Outdoor yoga at Piers Park is back with The Point on Tuesdays at 4:45pm, Wednesdays at noon, and Fridays at 5:30pm! Enjoy a vinyasa flow in the great outdoors.  Bring a mat and meet in front of the sailing center! You can learn more here.
