Make waves!

This year marks the 15th year of getting cold for a great cause. Help Save the Harbor raise money for our Better Beaches Grant Program and participate in the 2025’s Shamrock Splash, the annual polar plunge at Constitution  beach to splash into the clean water of Boston Harbor. There will be a costume competition and free warm food and drinks to enjoy after swimming. Takes place on Sunday, March 2nd from 11 am – 2 pm!  You can register here! 

New Cocktail Menu at Cunard Tavern

Cunard Tavern is debuting a new cocktail menu for you to try! Stop by this weekend and try one…or two – featuring Tavern Negroni, Jame-o & Tonic, and Metropolitan!

Bird Walk with Nature Man Mike

for all you birdwatchers out there, Nature Man Mike, a local legend, is offering a bird walk on Sunday, March 2nd from 8am-10am at Arnold Arboretum – meet in front of the Hunnewell Buidling at 125 Arborway.  It’s a free event but you must register here!  This two-hour walk is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced birders. Binoculars will be available to borrow on a first-come-first-serve basis, but you are encouraged to bring your own!

Mariachi Night at La Hacienda

Get the weekend spirit with live mariachi on Friday nights at La Hacienda! A great way to start the weekend!

How about dinner and drink by the water? Treat yourself to dinner and drinks at Reelhouse this weekend!  You can check out the menu here! 

Take a trip to the library

This place has it all!  Books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, TV series and music, maps, magazines and more! It also houses beautiful remnants of  “Ships Through The Ages” murals painted by  Frederic Leonard King between 1934 and 1935. Beyond what can be checked out, you can participate in a plethora of classes and social gatherings. Try a Cantarito

Los Alebrijes, a family-owned spot featuring Mexican food, now serves cocktails! In addition to beer, wine, and margaritas, you can also try a Cantarito – a traditional drink from Jalisco, Mexico, often found at roadside bars in Tequila Jalisco made with a blend of tequila, citrus juices, Squirt, salt, and lime juice! Los Alebrijes menu features pozole, tortilla soup, pescadillas, tacos, enchiladas, and more!  Save room for the churros and ice cream for dessert!
