Something to check out this weekend

The Atlantic Works Gallery (AWG) December exhibition will be Entering Art, a collaboration with East Boston High School. Artists’ works include drawings and photographs by talented young artists attending East Boston High School. This show opens through Saturday, December 20th. There will also be an AWG traditional “Third Thursday” reception on December 18th from 5-7 p.m. Participating artists are Yanett Alvarez, Dennis Antrim, Feruz Beyan, Daniela Colindrez , Andrea De Leon, June Fabian, Gary Hernandez, Jackie Hernandez, Lily Moran, Emily Petersen, Laury Ruiz, Savannah Simcock and Marisa Venuti.

Christmas on Moore Street – Get in the holiday Spirit

Remember things looking pretty spooky on Moore Street this past Halloween?  Well, scary spiders and singing pumpkins have been replaced with Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer, the Polar Express and more! It’s like a mini-Christmas festival right in the heart of East Boston! Clearly, a man who loves the holidays and the neighborhood of East Boston! Eastie Farm Winter Solstice and Volunteer Appreciation Party

Please join Eastie Farm for a free celebration of the Winter Solstice which brings us the return of lighter, brighter and longer days and to show its appreciation to the Eastie Farm volunteers who help with all of the initiatives Eastie Farm brings to the community. Donations and contributions are always welcome.  Takes place on Sunday, December 21st  from 2pm-5pm at 6 Chelsea Terrace.
