Dine Out Boston is Back!

This two-week culinary celebration, with more than 175 participating restaurants, provides diners an opportunity to enjoy delicious deals at restaurants across Greater Boston and restaurateurs the chance to bring in new patrons to their establishments. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, with many offering takeout and delivery options as well. Restaurants select one of three price points and customize their lunch and dinner menus: lunch at $22, $27, $32 or $36 and dinner at $36, $41, $46, or $55. Restaurants can offer as many courses as they desire at their selected price. This delicious celebration takes place from August 4th – August 17th and there are two Eastie restaurants participating! The Handle Bar x Tall Ship

On Saturday, August 10th, the Handle Bar is setting up an outdoor studio at the beautiful Tall Ship Boston! Tap it back with an ocean breeze and a spectacular view, then hang out on the pier to get your weekend started off right! The Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway will be hosting bocce on Friday at 6 pm.   Equipment will be provided, and no experience is required.  Just some casual play and fun! Bocce sets and equipment are available at the YMCA.

On Sundays We Dance at the ICA

The ICA Watershed is hosting a learn to dance event featuring Caporales – a traditional high-energy Andean dance – on Sunday from 2pm-3pm.  In addition to dancing, you can hear about the history, cultural incluences and traditions of Caporales followed by a deomonstartion of this folkloric dance in a free workshop led by VROCC and Caporales SanSimoneNE.  You can learn more here!
