Celebrate Eastie Pride Day

The 35th annual Eastie Pride Day celebration will take place on Saturday, August 17, from 2- 6 p.m. This neighborhood event highlights all the fabulous East Boston small businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations in one location at Piers Park.  The celebration features food, children’s games, face painting, music, live entertainment, contests and more!  This community event is family-friendly and open to all ages.  You can learn more details by visiting the Eastie Pride Day website here!   Make sure to follow them on Instagram too! 

Hop on a ferry for a fun summer adventure

Looking for a fun activity around the neighborhoods? Check out the boat shuttle service that connects you from ReelHouse East Boston to Charlestown’s waterfront and the Seaport. Boston Launch Company runs their boat shuttle service daily from 11 am until 11 pm, making stops at Pier 6, Reel House East Boston, The Tall Ship, and ReelHouse Oyster Bar in the Seaport. The service costs $4 a ticket but is free during Sumner Tunnel closures. It is such a fun, easy, and convenient way to get around the city!  Get all the fun details here!

Aloe Natural Acai + Coffee Shop is now open at the old Seabiscuit space at the Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina on Marginal Street. The new neighborhood spot offers organic juices, acai, wraps, and more! We feel healthier already! You can learn more here!

Coastal Yoga is celebrating 3 years in business with a special beach flow on Saturday at 9am at the top of Winthrop Shore drive at green bars/shower-area. You can register here! 

Waterfront on Wheels

Tour the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway to learn about the history of East Boston and current planning for open space and climate resilience.  Come with whatever wheels you wish to bring including but not limited to wheelchair, bike, scooter, skateboard and roller skates!  Takes place on Saturday, August 17th from 10am-12pm – meet at the Gove Street Greenway Crossing.

Last Call for Dine Out Boston

Ends this weekend! This two-week culinary celebration, with more than 175 participating restaurants, provides diners an opportunity to enjoy delicious deals at restaurants across Greater Boston and restaurateurs the chance to bring in new patrons to their establishments. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, with many offering takeout and delivery options as well. Restaurants select one of three price points and customize their lunch and dinner menus: lunch at $22, $27, $32 or $36 and dinner at $36, $41, $46, or $55. Restaurants can offer as many courses as they desire at their selected price. This delicious celebration takes place from August 4th – August 17th and there are two Eastie restaurants participating! Sunset Yoga at Tall Ship

Celebrate the summer season with an evening of yoga on the harbor by the beautiful Tall Ship Boston on Sunday! Relax and unwind with an all levels, outdoor yoga flow led by Hannah Colbert and Tobey Stohr underneath the setting sun over the water. This signature event includes 75 minute yoga class with limited edition event tee shirt, swag bag + giveaways from Vuori! Come as early as 6:30pm to set up, hang out, and enjoy the views! We will move into our class at 7:30pm followed by time to stay and hang out! This class is all levels and ALL are welcome to join. Come solo or bring a friend, you’ll make a friend or more there too! Please bring a yoga mat, any yoga props you like to use, water, and extra layers in case you get cold.  You can reserve your spot here!
