The annual Pride parade will return to the streets of Boston on Saturday, June 8, but that’s not all that’s planned! East Boston is gearing up for Pride Month with a vibrant array of events and activities designed to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community. Below is your guide to Pride events around Eastie. 2024 Pride Kickoff Boston Harbor Cruise | Saturday, June 2 | 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM | Massachusetts Bay Lines, 60 Rowes Wharf, Boston | $55 | Boston Alliance of Gay Sports partners with Mass Bears and Cubs to bring you their Pride 2024 Kick-Off Boston Harbor Cruise! Boarding starts at 2:30 p.m., with a 3 p.m. departure. The three-hour cruise ends with the Music City Queen returning to dock at 6 p.m. Complimentary buffet, cash bar, DJ, dance music, door prizes, and more! This is a 21+ event, proper ID required.
Road of Rainbows 5K | Thursday, June 8 | 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM | Boston Common Bandstand, 139 Tremont Street, Boston | $35 | 2024 will mark the 4th annual running of Boston Theater Company’s Road of Rainbows – the first athletic event of its kind in Massachusetts, where gender has no bounds. The Road of Rainbows is an all-inclusive event that is as much about running as it is about showing off your inner unicorn. Runners and walkers of ALL genders and abilities are welcome. For all LGBTQ+ folks and supporters.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Proud Bluebikes | June 1-June 30 | Boston | In celebration of Pride Month this June, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”) is launching 100 rainbow-themed Bluebikes into Greater Boston’s bikeshare system to help drive awareness for LGBTQIA+ equality. The “Proud Bikes,” available in both pedal and ebike formats, will be accessible throughout the system’s 13 municipalities and will be showcased in the Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8.
