Atlantic Works Gallery is pleased to present its November show: “Stop Look Listen” by Alberto Roblest and Rick Dorff. Doors open Saturday, November 1, with the opening reception from 5 – 8 pm. There is also a Third Thursday reception with artists’ talks on Thursday, November 20.
In their exhibition at Atlantic Works Gallery, Alberto Roblest and Rick Dorff will explore ideas about light, water, and sound through individual and collaborative installations of video projection and sculptural objects. Roblest and Dorff explore the expansion of sensory experience and participation in conditions that are important in our everyday lives. Visitors are invited to observe the beauty and conflict of these events by exploring subtle images of beauty and conflict. “Stop Look Listen” is an installation that combines sculpture, light, video, and sound to reflect on the increasingly prevalent environmental issues facing our planet.
