February Vacation Ideas – 2026

Here are some fun local things to do with the kids this week! Check back, as this list may be updated!
Lace up those bowling shoes!
Head to Central Park Lanes at 10 Saratoga Street and bowl a few strings at this old-school institution! They are open daily 12pm-7pm. Are big balls more of your thing? Kings Dining & Entertainment in the Seaport District offers all kinds of fun! This new hot spot features 20,000 square feet of fun at 60 Seaport Boulevard complete with 16 lanes of big ball bowling, a “bar-Kade” filled with video games, pool tables, foosball a giant four-man air hockey table, shuffleboard, and hoops!
President’s Day Festival
The JFK Presidential Library is hosting a Presidents’ Day festival that’s way more than your average history lesson. Think presidential storytelling, hands-on crafts, live music, and fun activities inspired by America250 and even presidential pets (turns out the White House has had some pretty cute residents over the years). It’s an all-ages event, with free admission for kids 17 and under. The first 350 children through the door will receive a special keepsake, and adults can get a discounted ticket by keeping an eye on @jfklibraryfdn for the official code. A little history, a little fun, and a solid way to keep everyone entertained while school’s out.
