New Liquor Licenses in the Neighborhood
The City of Boston Licensing Board yesterday approved new liquor licenses across Boston. The approved applicants are located in Allston, Chinatown, East Boston, Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, the South End, and West Roxbury. Additionally, the Boston Licensing Board approved applications from beer and wine licensees upgrading to non-transferable all alcoholic beverages licenses. The Licensing Board will send all the applications to the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission for investigation and final approval. Find out where in East Boston here!
NeighborhoodHealth Announces Spring CSA Program is Open for Enrollment
If you’ve been looking for a way to eat more veggies, try something new in the kitchen, and support local farms while you’re at it, NeighborHealth’s CSA program might be your answer. A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) allows community members to purchase a “share” of a local farm’s harvest. Each week during the growing season, members receive a box of fresh produce that changes with what’s in season. Many participants say the program has helped them improve their diet, cook more at home, and discover fruits and vegetables they might not have picked up otherwise.
A neighborhood reminder to get your dog licensed
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s Animal Care and Control Division reminds city dog owners that the annual deadline for licensing their pets is March 31, 2026. All dogs in Boston require a new license each year. This process can be completed online, by mail, or in-person at our upcoming licensing clinics. Takes place in East Boston on April 11th. Get the details here.
