The Mary Ellen Welch Greenway is hosting a unique opportunity for kids to create paper mache art! Pascal Gangi will demonstrate and instruct participants in creating their own art projects! Paint and glue will be used, so dress accordingly. This fun event will take place at the East Boston Public Library on Saturday from 10am-12pm.

Sumner Tunnel Shutdown this Summer

Plan accordingly!  The Sumner Tunnel will be closed seven days a week in from July 5 to August 5. During this time, traffic will be diverted through other signed detour routes.  Get all the details here.

Last Chance to see My Window: Drawings by Leigh Hall

Atlantic Works Gallery June exhibition is a solo show of the artwork of AWG founding member Leigh Hall.  visitors will see four large-scale, wall-size “tape drawings!” The show ends on June 29th!

Listen up, Orange Line Commuters

MBTA is reminding riders that Orange Line service will be suspended daily between North Station and Wellington from June 24 through June 30. Riders are encouraged to consider the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line for fare-free service between Oak Grove, Malden Center, and North Station. Regular fares should be purchased beyond Oak Grove.
