DCR Bird Migration Banding at Belle Isle Marsh

Stop by and connect with master bander / @massdcr Stewardship Research Biologist Sean Riley ( @newburyowls_ ) at Belle Isle Marsh Reservation from April 20th – April 24th.  Sean will be banding spring migration birds out of the Research and Education Center (the red shed) each day 7am-12noon, weather dependent. Learn about this important research, the steps taken (weighing, measuring, identifying gender and age…), and how this research contributes to conversation efforts. Please leave pets at home.
