Trial for 2017 murder of two doctors in South Boston started Tuesday
The trial for a man accused of the 2017 killing of two doctors in their condo at 141 Dorchester Avenue began on Tuesday in Suffolk Superior Court.
Back in May of 2017, Boston police were called to the Macallen Building for a report of a man with a gun at approximately 8:45pm. Officers then exchanged gunshots with the man, who was injured. A SWAT team investigated the building and discovered the two victims who were found bound with their throats cut. The victims were Dr. Lina Bolanos, 38 and Dr. Richard Field, 49. The suspect was taken into custody and was dentified by police as Bampumim Teixeira, of Chelsea.
