Tragedy Strikes in Chelsea: Woman Fatally Shot by Estranged Husband

In a heartbreaking incident that has shaken the community, a woman was fatally shot by her estranged husband on Friday morning in Chelsea. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Melissa Janvier Pablo, succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital.

The shooting occurred around 8:45 a.m. near Eastern Avenue and Marginal Street, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden. Authorities have arrested 31-year-old Luckenson King Pablo of Chelsea, charging him with first-degree murder in connection with the killing.

According to reports, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle but was later detained. Witnesses, including a police officer who discovered Janvier Pablo on the street shortly after the incident, provided critical information that aided the investigation.
