The Martin Richard Foundation is hosting a “Text-A-Thon” help raise funds for a playground at Children’s Wharf Park located at 64 Sleeper Street in Fort Point near the Children’s Museum.

By texting “MARTIN” to 91999 from Friday until Monday at midnight, you can make an $8 donation to build the park – which will be constructed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. The park is expected to open in 2017.  Martin was the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings and was only eight years old when he was killed.
