On Tuesday, some local grocery store workers protested (while practicing social distancing) outside of Whole Foods in the South End. They are demanding that changes need to be made to protect supermarket workers.
Employees from many local supermarkets including Stop & Shop, Shaw’s, and Trader Joe’s were present and are asking for hazard pay plus more protective equipment during the COVID-19 crisis.
