Yikes!
Talk about an unexpected arrival! A woman was stung by a scorpion while grabbing her luggage at Boston Logan International Airport on Sunday evening, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The 40-year-old woman was in the baggage claim area of customs around 7:30 p.m. when the incident happened. She was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment, though no further details on her condition have been released.
As for the scorpion? Its origin remains a mystery—police have not confirmed where it came from or even what species it was. Travelers are left wondering how exactly a scorpion made its way into Logan, and if it hitched a ride on an international flight.
We’ll keep you posted if more details crawl in!
