On Monday morning, Governor Charlie Baker ordered all non-essential businesses to close starting Tuesday, March 24th at 12noon through April 7th due to COVID-19. Essential businesses and services that can stay open include supermarkets, package stores, medical marijuana shops and the MBTA. Here is a full list of essential services.
Restaurants can still operate takeout/delivery as long as they are following safety guidelines.
Baker also issued a Stay Home Advisory. This is not an order – just an advisory. You can go to the grocery store etc., go for a walk, but it’s strongly recommended to stay indoors. So please stay at home.
