Wowza! What an inspiration!
An 81-year-old MBTA train operator is the oldest train operator in the world! That’s right, the world! Helen Antenucci has worked as a Blue Line driver for almost 30 years and recently set a Guinness World Record as the world’s oldest train operator!
According to the MBTA, Antenucci is a rider favorite, known for her cheerful announcements and her love for the New England Aquarium and its corresponding MBTA stop.
Lucky for you Blue Line riders, she has no plan of retiring anytime soon!
And let us add that Helen looks fabulous!
