Transit Police arrested a 56-year-old Boston man on Friday evening for indecently assaulting a woman at the Maverick MBTA station around 6 p.m.
According to Universal Hub, Francis Costa, Jr., no stranger to law enforcement, was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges, including indecent assault and battery on a person over 60, failure to register as a sex offender, and assault and battery on a police officer—because he didn’t exactly go quietly.
Transit Police noted that Costa is “well known” to them for committing sexual offenses. He was scheduled for arraignment in East Boston Municipal Court today.
