Just an FYI:
Beginning on July 1, 2024, and continuing through August 31, 2024, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close Constitution Beach Softball Fields 1 and 2 in East Boston to accommodate a planned $150,000 capital improvement project including outfield, infield, and spectator seating restoration work, as well as vegetation management along the property line fence. DCR has coordinated with leagues to relocate their permitted play to nearby fields, for the duration of the construction. Additionally, the hardcourts, playground and all other amenities at Constitution Beach will remain open for use.
