BPD Wishes Eastie Man a Happy Birthday After Receiving a 911 Call

An East Boston man called 911 just after midnight on Thursday, asking if someone could wish him a happy birthday.
According to WHDH, two Boston police officers responded to the call with a birthday muffin. The two officers stopped to buy 25-year-old Chris a muffin and candles before showing up at his home around 12:40 a.m. The officers even sang happy birthday to him.
Evidently, it made the birthday boy’s day, according to Sergeant Detective John Boyle, a Boston Police Department spokesperson.
