We love this! BPD in the neighborhood! See press release below via BPD News!
What a delightful day it was at District A-7!
Officers had the pleasure of hosting the amazing kids from Little Adventures and La Vaca Lola daycare centers in East Boston!
The children, dressed as officers with their own body-worn cameras and radios, learned about what we do in the community. It was fantastic to see their excitement and curiosity as we answered their questions and demonstrated some of our daily duties.
Of course, we had to make sure that the BPD Ice Cream Truck (with thanks to our friends at HP Hood and the BPD Foundation) was in attendance to fuel these future officers!
