BPD in the Community: Young East Boston Resident Receives Early Holiday Gift

The Boston Police Department is proud to share a heartwarming moment from District A-7 (East Boston), where Captain Bickerton and members of A-7 had the privilege of spreading holiday cheer to a young East Boston resident.
As part of their commitment to building positive relationships with the community, Officers presented a brand-new bicycle to the young girl, bringing a big smile to her face. Despite her excitement, she took a moment to connect with the officers and share a few laughs before joyfully riding her new bike around the station.
These small gestures remind us of the importance of fostering trust and connection within the communities we serve.
