A little bit of sunshine on a gloomy Sunday.
An old decaying tree on L Street was replaced with a beautiful cherry tree in January. This tree was planted in memory of Colin McGrath – the two-year-old boy who was killed at the intersection of L and 6th back in July of 2018.
Thanks to the efforts of the South Boston community – including the amazing Susan Devlin of Nurture Salon – the City of Boston planted this beautiful blossoming tree instead of the standard tree. It is now starting to bloom beautiful pink flowers.
So if you’re in the neighborhood, walk by and take in the joy of this beautiful tree.
