A teenager was shot in South Boston

WCVB is reporting that Boston EMS responded to a call around 1:15 a.m. on Friday for a person shot on Old Colony Avenue and Patterson Way.
A teenager was discovered with a gun shot wound and was taken to an area hospital. BPD was on scene investigating. More to follow.
