84-year-old Suspect In Custody After East Boston Stabbing

From BPD News:
At about 3:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024, officers assigned to District 7 (East Boston) responded to a report of a person stabbed in the area of Brandywine Drive. On arrival, Officers located an adult female victim suffering from a stab wound to the neck. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries. It was later determined the victim’s injuries were non-life threatening when she arrived at the hospital.
An 84-year-old male from East Boston was placed under arrest and charged with A&B with Dangerous Weapon (Knife), A&B On +60/Disabled Person with Injury, Armed Assault in a Dwelling, and Assault to Murder. He was later transported to a local hospital for an evaluation and will be arraigned in the East Boston District Court.
