3-Alarm Fire on Saratoga Street in East Boston

BFD responded to call for a fire at 151 Saratoga Street around 5am on Thursday. Heavy fire was showing on all three floors of the building. A third alarm was quickly ordered. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames quickly.
33 residents have been displaced. The Red Cross was on hand to help with housing. No injuries to report. The BFD- FIU is investigating the cause of the fire.
