BFD responded to a call for a fire at 11 Morre Street in East Boston around 9am on Sunday. Fire was visible on the first and second floor of this multi-family home. The fire extended to the home next door. A second alarm was ordered.
The fire was knocked down quickly, and firefighters did a great job, considering the windy conditions, of stopping the fire from spreading to more buildings.
One resident was transported to a local hospital. Two residents and a dog have been displaced. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
