12 year-old boy allegedly assaulted at Castle Island
On Monday, state police arrested a man who allegedly grabbed a 12 year-old boy near the bathrooms at Castle Island. According to the Boston Herald, Wilfin Medina, 29, is due in South Boston District Court on Tuesday to be arraigned on charges ranging from assault and battery, breach of the peace and attempts to commit a crime.
According to police, the man did et go of the boy’s arm when the child’s mother told him to. Medina then wandered over to the playground.
Medina had a large rock in his hand when the police caught up to him.
