Police Looking for Cyclist After Elderly Man Is Pushed to the Ground in East Boston – Watch video here
Boston Police are investigating after an elderly man using a walker was shoved to the ground by a cyclist in East Boston on Friday afternoon. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Sumner Street near Cottage Street.
According to NBC10 Boston, surveillance video shows a person riding a bicycle on the sidewalk before stopping, getting off the bike, and running back to push the man to the ground. The victim later took himself to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are continuing to investigate and have not announced any arrests. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Boston Police.

this is nothing new and we have asked and begged for sometype of help for pedestrians who are constantly being overrun by bikes and scooters speeding along the sidewalks – they don’t slow down – even when we don’t even see them coming… I am talking about kids in carriages, families walking their kids, dogs, and these bikers and scooters have not desire to take into account safety…. THE MAYOR ONLY CARES ABOUT BIKE LANES AND NOTHING ABOUT PEDESTRIANS….. NOT EVEN OUR OWN WHO SAY THEY FEEL THE SAME WAY AND DON’T HELP US OUT AT ALL…. COME ON MAYOR WU DO BETTER…. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT WORSE AND IT ISN’T A JOKE OR A WINNING COMPLAINT.. IT IS DANGEROUS AND VERY SCARY
