All Aboard! Park Street Station to Become “Bark Street Station” for One Day, Oct. 29

The MBTA is going to the dogs, and we mean that in the best possible way. On Thursday, October 29th, Park Street Station will transform into “Bark Street Station” from 4pm to 6pm, complete with some very special four-legged guests.
In celebration of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, the MBTA is teaming up with the Animal Rescue League of Boston for an afternoon of canine fun. Visitors can meet dogs previously adopted through ARL, learn about animals looking for forever homes, and find out how to get involved through adoption, fostering, and volunteering.
Therapy dogs from several local police departments and K-9 organizations will also be on hand to meet commuters and visitors.
The event takes place outside Park Street Station and is part of the MBTA’s celebration leading up to the 130th anniversary of America’s first subway.
