9 Questions, 1 Ballot
On November 3, voters will decide on the Massachusetts governor, members of the House and Senate, and local offices. While the up-ballot races will set the tone for the national news cycle, voters will also decide on nine citizen-initiated ballot questions, the most certified since 1994. The questions range from collective bargaining for public defenders to changing the law for recreational marijuana use. Here’s a breakdown of the 9 questions!
Last Call for the East Boston Farmers Market
The East Boston Farmers Market is wrapping up its season on Wednesday, October 28th, from 3pm to 6pm in Central Square, across from Liberty Shopping Center at 200 Border Street. Hosted by NeighborHealth, the market features locally sourced fresh produce for purchase, along with activities, games, and information from local community organizations. It’s your last chance of the season to shop fresh and support local farmers. You can learn more about the event here.

Things are a little spookier in the neighborhood, thanks to Nightmare on Moore Street. For the fourth year in a row, Jimmy Magnasco has gone all out for Halloween with inflatables, light installations, crawling spiders, and singing pumpkins! It’s like a mini Halloween theme park right in the heart of our neighborhood. Clearly, a man who loves Halloween and our neighborhood of East Boston! Get the details here.
