Eastie Farm Fall Equinox
Please join Eastie Farm in a free celebration of the Fall equinox, showcasing Eastie Farm’s facility and resources. This event will include a mushroom log inoculation demonstration supporting their mushroom farm operations, plus festive music, food and beverages, and locally sourced produce for purchase. Donations are always welcome. This neighborhood event takes place on Tuesday, September 22nd from 5 pm- 8 pm at Eastie Farm! RSVP here.
History in Motion
USS Constitution is scheduled to get underway on Friday, September 25th from Charlestown Navy Yard at 10:00 A.M. The cruise will be visible from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and Charlestown Navy Yard. A 21-gun salute will be fired at approximately 11:30 A.M., viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island. Followed by a 17-gun salute in front of the US Coast Guard Base around 12:25pm.
Living Seawalls Tour
Stone Living Lab is hosting a 45-minute educational tour of the living seawalls at Condor Street Urban Wild on Tuesday, September 22nd at 11:30am. This free tour offers a chance to see and learn about the creatures that have made a home out of sites in Boston and how development and waterfront industries have shaped Boston harbor.
