Festival Viva México
Festival Viva México Boston 2026 is taking over 102 Border Street on Saturday, September 19th, from 1pm-8pm! Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day with authentic food, live music, folkloric dancing, activities for kids and teens, and El Grito with Consul Carlos Iriarte. The event is free, but guests are encouraged to reserve a ticket in advance through the Veronica Robles Cultural Center.
Support the East Boston Community Soup Kitchen
The East Boston Community Soup Kitchen is hosting its Annual Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, September 19th! Enjoy an evening of celebration and community while helping raise money to support the programs and services the organization provides to those in need. A fun night for a great Eastie cause! Take a Field Trip: The South Boston Street Fest is Saturday
One of our favorite Southie days of the year is back! The South Boston Street Fest takes over East Broadway between I and L streets on Saturday, September 19th. Expect more than 100 local businesses, artists, and organizations, plus live entertainment, food, shopping, kids’ activities, and plenty of neighborhood fun. And make sure you stop by and say hello to us at the Caught in Southie booth! We will be giving away lots of fun stuff, plus selling a limited-edition Southie baseball cap and Caught in Southie totes!

Cisco Brewers Seaport
Cross the river over to the Seaport for live music and fun events all weekend at Cisco Brewers! They have live music every night, Sunday brunch, and floral arranging and sips on Sunday!
Fundraiser for Colombia at the Tall Ship
Head to The Tall Ship this Saturday from 2-8PM for music, food, dancing, and family fun! Tickets on their website!
Brunch at Cunard Tavern
Cunard Tavern serves up brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring a menu with items like a breakfast burrito, omelets, pancakes and more! Plus Bloody Marys, mimosas and boozy iced coffees! You can check out the full menu here!

Weekend Treats at Saratoga Market
Need a treat while you’re out in Eastie? Swing by Saratoga Market (16 Trident St, East Boston, MA 02128), a cute neighborhood spot serving up Richardson’s ice cream, Colombian coffee, and desserts from Bindi. Open daily (8am-9pm Monday-Saturday, 8am-8pm Sunday), it’s a great low-key stop for a scoop or an iced coffee on your way through the neighborhood.
