Plans Change for Bennington Street Bike Lane in East Boston

There’s been a change of plans for a stretch of Bennington Street in East Boston.
According to Universal Hub, the Boston Public Improvement Commission approved a Boston Transportation Department proposal to eliminate a planned protected bike lane on Bennington Street between Day Square and Neptune Road. Instead, that section will include spaces for parallel parking.
The decision was approved on Thursday as part of plans for the busy Eastie roadway.
