Once on Georges Island, visitors can explore walking trails, check out the new pavilion, visit Fort Warren — the island’s historic Civil War-era fort — and take in beautiful views of the Boston skyline and harbor.
Free Ferry Weekend is a great option for a free family outing, a scenic day outdoors, or a new way to experience Boston from the water.
